Programming on Visual C++

Abstract. This course cover and some advanced topics on Visual C++ programming (preferably with MS Visual C++ 6). Course includes basics of Windows programming, complete description of MFC classes, creation of user interface and message handling, DLL creation, developing multithread applications, working with ActiveX documents, automation, ActiveX controls, network programming (sockets, MAPI, WinInet), database programming with ODBC, DAO, ADO. It recommended for beginning and intermediate level programmers. This curriculum teaches C++ developers to be successful using the Visual C++ 6 environment and associated Integrated Development Environment (IDE).This curriculum will prepare learners for the following certification exams: - 70-015: Designing and Implementing Distributed Applications with Microsoft Visual C++ 6 - 70-016: Designing and Implementing Desktop Applications with Microsoft Visual C++ 6 This curriculum will help you achieve your MCSD and MCDBA certification goals.
